Cookies and website technology
Cookies and local storage
The current website does not set persistent analytics or advertising cookies and does not store visitor preferences in local storage. Essential server functions may process ordinary request information needed to deliver pages and secure the contact form.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics platform, behavioural advertising pixel or location-tracking tool is enabled in this version. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before the technology is activated.
Google Fonts
Some pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When a browser requests those files, Google may receive technical request information such as the visitor’s IP address, browser and requested resource. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy practices.
External links
Links to third-party websites are governed by the privacy practices of those sites. GEN Construction is not responsible for how an external website handles information after you leave this website.

Sharing and service providers
Access is limited to people who reasonably need the information to answer, review or administer the request. Information may also be processed by service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, security, technical maintenance or professional advice.
Providers are expected to use information only for the services they perform and to apply appropriate safeguards. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, a court order, an insurer, a regulator or to protect legal rights and safety.
We do not rent or sell inquiry information. If information must be communicated or processed outside Québec, GEN Construction will assess the privacy factors and safeguards required by applicable law before the arrangement is used.

Retention and security
The website does not place contact submissions in a public database. A successful form submission is delivered to the company email system. Messages and related correspondence are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, manage a potential or actual business relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. They are then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
The anti-abuse rate-limit marker is a one-way hash derived from the submitting IP address and is intended to expire after approximately 20 seconds. Hosting and email systems may maintain technical logs or backups according to their operational retention settings.
GEN Construction uses administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information, including input validation, fixed email routing, access controls, transport security when provided by the host, anti-spam controls and restricted access to business communications. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and verification of identity, you may ask GEN Construction to:
- Confirm whether it holds personal information about you;
- Provide access to that information and a copy;
- Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- Withdraw consent for future use where consent is the basis for processing;
- Provide eligible computerized information collected from you in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- Explain or review the handling of a privacy concern or complaint.
A request should describe what you are seeking and provide enough information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant records. Some requests may be limited or refused where permitted or required by law.
